Conversational AI Solution Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

📋 Description

• Evaluate customer processes to identify opportunities for automation and select appropriate platforms.

• Create solution concepts for the implementation of voice and chatbot technologies.

• Assess and communicate the technical feasibility, required effort, and associated risks.

• Configure and develop voicebots and chatbots using established Conversational AI platforms.

• Design, test, and enhance prompts and dialogue flows.

• Conduct quality assurance and consistently improve bot performance.

• Integrate interfaces with customer systems and manage data flows.

• Execute technical implementations utilizing JavaScript and Python.

• Oversee projects from inception to completion, including technology assessment, configuration, and go-live.

• Engage in project management and maintain communication with stakeholders.

• Work collaboratively with customer IT teams for system integration.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation that includes configurations, interfaces, and prompt libraries.

• Actively share knowledge within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related technical discipline.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience as a Conversational AI Engineer, Solution Engineer, Technical Consultant, or a similar role.

• Proven project experience in implementing voicebots or chatbots on recognized platforms.

• Comprehensive understanding of configuration and prompt engineering on Conversational AI platforms.

• Proficient programming skills in JavaScript and Python.

• Experience with API integration and system architecture.

• Capability to evaluate automation potential in customer processes.

• Strong project management and technical documentation abilities.

• Experience in a customer experience (CX) setting is advantageous.

• Proficiency in German at the C1 level is required.

• English proficiency at the B2 level is a plus.

• Strong technical affinity and a methodical, solution-driven work approach.

• Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.

• Skill in communicating technical concepts effectively and clearly.

• Capability to work independently and maintain resilience throughout project phases.
