Senior System Engineer, Solution Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Become a part of NVIDIA's Solution Engineering team concentrating on Mellanox Networking, DGX Platforms, Container Orchestrators, Deep Learning containers, and enterprise system software.

• Allocate around 50% of your time assisting customers with intricate issues and the remaining 50% on research and development tasks.

• Assume responsibility for customer concerns regarding InfiniBand/NVLink switch deployments from the initial stage to resolution.

• Create features and tools that enhance Enterprise Service offerings, including Networking products.

• Collaborate with NVIDIA Enterprise customers and internal stakeholders to enhance the availability, reliability, and overall experience with NVIDIA Networking products.

• Utilize independent analysis, effective communication, and problem-solving skills to enhance customer experience.

• Partner with engineering teams to document, replicate, and resolve issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Over 10 years of experience in system software development and troubleshooting, preferably with some customer engagement.

• Proficiency in developing C in kernel and/or application space and/or embedded software.

• Practical experience in troubleshooting and analyzing common datacenter networking protocols/technologies, such as LACP, OSPF, BGP, EVPN, and VXLAN.

• A strong sense of intellectual curiosity, a positive attitude, adaptability, analytical skills, self-motivation, and a collaborative spirit.

• Excellent professional communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Knowledge of InfiniBand/Ethernet networks, RDMA protocol, RoCE, DPUs, HPC applications (MPI/UCX), and OVS.

• Capability to conduct in-depth analysis of IP, Layer 2 switching, and Layer 3 routing networking protocols, including ARP, STP, LACP, MLAG, IGMP, PIM, BGP, and OSPF.

• Contributions to open-source projects related to networking.
