Controllership Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Oversee project schedules and timelines, proactively identifying deviations and managing dependencies.

• Track project budgets, monitoring expenses and managing hours contributed by external partners.

• Create concise, visually engaging status reports to forecast risks and keep leadership and partner teams updated.

• Analyze and assess accounting or financial processes to develop improvement strategies.

• Spot opportunities for automation and documentation enhancements.

• Leverage artificial intelligence to expedite analyses, boost productivity, and derive insights.

• Participate in accounting close cycle concepts and financial regulations to ensure compliance with technical standards.

• Lead the intricate technology and finance agenda, organizing timelines for tools like SAP S/4HANA.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or Engineering.

• Prior experience in financial institutions or within audit and consulting firms.

• Formal experience with project management methodologies or relevant certifications such as PMP, PMBOK, or PRINCE2.

• Understanding of financial institution regulations, including BACEN rules and COSIF guidelines.

• Strong technical knowledge in corporate accounting and IFRS standards.

• Practical experience with Artificial Intelligence aimed at optimization and productivity enhancements.

• Advanced or fluent proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.

• Skilled in spreadsheet and data visualization tools, such as Excel, Google Sheets, and BI platforms.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and equipped with strong problem-identification and diagnostic skills.

• Flexible and capable of navigating diverse scenarios and challenges in a dynamic environment.

• Results-oriented, with the ability to prioritize initiatives that have significant impact.

• Self-motivated and collaborative, able to work efficiently in a remote setting.
