Controller

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring both accuracy and punctuality.

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with UK/Irish GAAP standards.

• Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting for the entire business.

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, payroll coordination, and everyday financial operations.

• Ensure adherence to UK and Irish tax, statutory, and regulatory obligations.

• Collaborate with leadership to provide financial insights that inform decision-making.

• Develop and enhance internal controls and financial processes as the organization grows.

• Assist with audit processes and communicate with external accountants and auditors.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).

• Demonstrated experience as a Financial Controller or in a senior finance position.

• In-depth knowledge of UK and/or Irish statutory and tax obligations.

• Hands-on experience with month-end closing and financial reporting.

• Proficient in US GAAP.

• Experience in a private equity-backed or multi-entity setting.

• Familiarity with ERP/accounting software (such as Sage, NetSuite, or similar).

• Experience working across both UK and Irish entities.
