Controller Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Integrate databases from various systems and sources, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the data.

• Assist in the preparation and updating of the management income statement (DRE) along with other financial reports.

• Oversee financial closing processes.

• Conduct reconciliations and identify discrepancies in data and entries.

• Examine variances between actual and projected results, providing insights for the figures.

• Aid in enhancing the company's financial processes, controls, and routines.

• Suggest improvements and automation for current consolidation and reporting practices.

• Familiarize yourself with the operations, key data sources, financial flows, and existing reporting structure within the first 30 days.

• Gradually assume responsibility for the consolidation, closing, management income statement preparation, and financial reporting processes with greater autonomy within 60 days.

• Direct the entire closing process and recommend enhancements and automation within 90 days.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience in Controllership, FP&A, Finance, or similar fields.

• Familiarity with financial closing processes and the preparation and analysis of income statements.

• Analytical and organized mindset.

• Proficient in Power BI or other business intelligence tools.

• Knowledge of SQL and/or Python for data manipulation and consolidation.

• Experience in automating financial processes and generating reports.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English.

• Background in technology companies, e-commerce, digital marketing, or high-volume transaction sectors.
