Contracts Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Prepare, assess, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, such as NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, supply agreements, and purchasing agreements.

• Ensure that contracts adhere to Jabil's internal policies, legal standards, and industry best practices.

• Collaborate with departments including sales, procurement, engineering, and finance to understand contractual requirements and offer guidance on terms and conditions.

• Oversee the contract lifecycle from initiation through execution, renewal, and termination utilizing contract management systems.

• Identify and address contractual risks while escalating complex legal matters to senior legal counsel.

• Maintain thorough and organized records and documentation of contracts.

• Assist in the creation and implementation of contract templates and standard operating procedures.

• Provide training and support to internal stakeholders regarding contract-related issues.

• Engage in special projects within the legal department as assigned.

• Experience and qualifications that enable the drafting, reviewing, and negotiating of commercial contracts, including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, supply agreements, and purchasing agreements.

• Understanding of contract compliance with internal policies, legal standards, and industry best practices.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with sales, procurement, engineering, and finance teams.

• Proficiency in using contract management systems.

• Skill in identifying and mitigating contractual risks and escalating intricate legal issues to senior legal counsel.

• Ability to maintain precise contract records and documentation.

• Competence in assisting with the development of contract templates and standard operating procedures.

• Capacity to provide training and support to internal stakeholders on contract-related topics.
