This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +1 more state.
• Manage contracts throughout their entire lifecycle, which includes acquisition, baseline administration, execution, and closure.
• Ensure adherence to FAR/DFARS, company policies, and contractual commitments.
• Analyze, interpret, and negotiate the terms and conditions of contracts.
• Recognize contractual risks and formulate mitigation strategies to safeguard SAIC's interests.
• Maintain contract baselines, encompassing deliverables, responsibilities, and key milestones.
• Monitor, manage, and communicate changes, modifications, and obligations related to contracts.
• Assist with audits, contract data inquiries, and compliance evaluations.
• Collaborate with Program Managers, capture teams, and pricing analysts in proposal activities.
• Prepare proposal-specific terms and conditions while identifying areas of risk within proposals.
• Aid in the negotiation and finalization of contract awards.
• Create negotiation strategies and assist in resolving contractual disputes.
• Negotiate terms and settle disputes with federal clients.
• Perform program risk assessments and provide financial insights to Program Managers.
• Assess proposed contract changes and suggest revised positions.
• Work collaboratively across SAIC to ensure alignment of proposal, contract, and program activities with business and financial goals.
• Communicate legal, financial, and programmatic matters to both internal stakeholders and external customers.
• Share best practices and contribute to ongoing process enhancements.
• A bachelor's degree with ten (10) years or more of relevant federal contracts/contract management experience; a master's degree with eight (8) years or more of experience; or a PhD/JD with five (5) years or more of experience.
• Four years of related professional experience can substitute for the degree requirement.
• US citizenship is required.
• Certification as a Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) or Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) is preferred.
• Proven experience in negotiating and managing various contract types, including FFP and FPIF, across federal programs.
• Strong knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and federal procurement processes.
• Ability to cultivate stakeholder relationships, manage competing priorities, and facilitate negotiations under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Capacity to clearly convey contractual and financial information to diverse audiences.
• Ability to autonomously identify and resolve contractual issues while ensuring compliance and managing risk.
