This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Act as the organization's representative on contractual issues while providing expert advice to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure that all contracting activities adhere to corporate policies, procedures, and governance standards.
• Lead the negotiation and implementation of intricate commercial contracts.
• Examine customer Requests for Proposals (RFPs), evaluate requirements and terms, assist in proposal development, and facilitate internal approvals.
• Identify contractual and business risks while suggesting effective mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with program management to comprehend relevant products, services, and technical elements.
• Provide strategic analysis and recommendations for business and contractual decisions.
• Prepare precise, complete, and professionally formatted negotiation and contractual documents.
• Maintain well-organized, audit-ready contract files.
• Manage multiple projects of varying complexities while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience.
• Experience in commercial aerospace contracts, preferably supporting airlines, airframe manufacturers, and aftermarket services.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Must have authorization to access information related to the program/contract as a U.S. citizen.
• Ability to represent the organization on contractual matters effectively.
• Strong background in commercial aerospace aftermarket contracting.
• Exceptional attention to detail is required.
• Competence in producing clean and professional documentation.
• Ability to adhere to established processes and standards.
• Strong organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to navigate through evolving digital tools and handle competing priorities.
