This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
β’ Oversee all aspects of contract management from inception to completion, including proposal drafting, negotiation, administration, and closeout.
β’ Liaise with customers to manage contracts and any contractual modifications.
β’ Ensure invoicing and contract obligations adhere to company policies, legal standards, and client requirements.
β’ Utilize business insight and subject matter expertise to grasp program performance needs, deliver guidance, and drive outcomes that align with program and financial goals.
β’ Collaborate with Program Management leadership, the Office of General Counsel, and various cross-functional teams.
β’ Assist in program gate evaluations, management assessments, strategic business discussions, proposal evaluations, risk management tasks, and other contract-related issues.
β’ Create innovative solutions and address contractual challenges in collaboration with team members from different functions.
β’ Oversee the scope of contracts and the related terms and conditions.
β’ Evaluate RFPs, create and assess proposals, facilitate negotiations, implement agreements, and manage contracts.
β’ Examine and resolve intricate contractual issues using analytical thinking, thorough information collection, inventive contracting methods, and collaboration with stakeholders.
β’ Offer strategic counsel on contractual rights, obligations, regulations, and policies/procedures to minimize risks and unauthorized modifications.
β’ Handle both routine and intricate contract and proposal tasks while responding to urgent requirements.
β’ Provide support for the JPALS program within the Resilient Connectivity Products Portfolio.
β’ Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
β’ Must possess or have the ability to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance; an active security clearance is required starting on day one.
β’ U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens can obtain a security clearance.
β’ Familiarity with U.S. Government fixed-price and cost-reimbursement contracts under FAR and DFARS.
β’ Proven experience as a Contracts Lead and/or in leading contract negotiations with clients.
β’ Knowledge of the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) process.
β’ Experience in administering and negotiating complex proposals and contracts is preferred.
β’ Strong interpersonal skills for engaging with diverse internal and external stakeholders are preferred.
β’ Ability to cultivate effective relationships with both internal and external clients based on mutual respect and trust is preferred.
β’ Experience interfacing with DCAA and DCMA to support proposal assessments, audits, and investigations is preferred.
β’ Minimal travel within the country is expected.
