This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
β’ Oversee the complete lifecycle of federal contracts, which includes proposal support, negotiation, award, administration, and closeout.
β’ Ensure adherence to FAR, agency-specific regulations, and the terms and conditions of contracts.
β’ Manage GSA Schedule maintenance, encompassing modifications, updates to product/service catalogs, and necessary reporting.
β’ Serve as the Contracts Compliance Sponsor, maintaining internal controls, procedures, and risk management practices.
β’ Monitor and manage CDRLs, guaranteeing the timely delivery and documentation of essential contract deliverables.
β’ Review and validate proposal responses for compliance with contractual obligations prior to submission.
β’ Analyze contract terms, identify potential risks, and provide strategic recommendations to leadership and sales teams.
β’ Advise senior management on federal contracting requirements, compliance responsibilities, and contract strategies.
β’ Track contract data, including financial metrics, to monitor project health and manage risks effectively.
β’ Take ownership of the contract management backlog register and stay informed on regulatory changes.
β’ Draft, review, and execute NDAs, teaming agreements, subcontracts, contract modifications, and other contractual documents.
β’ Assist in resolving disputes related to contract interpretation, performance, or compliance issues.
β’ Evaluate teaming performance metrics during contract reviews.
β’ Create and deliver internal training sessions focused on federal contracting compliance and best practices.
β’ Establish, revise, and enforce SOPs in alignment with company policies and processes.
β’ Address inquiries, audits, and reporting obligations from government and internal sources, including CPARS, sales reporting, and protests.
β’ Develop and implement quality-control and tracking mechanisms centered on financial, contractual, regulatory, and CDRL compliance.
β’ Collaborate with business development and sales teams to address contract requirements, pricing structures, and billing compliance.
β’ Ensure proposal submissions meet contractual and regulatory standards before they are sent to government clients.
β’ Work together with Government Contracting Officers, internal stakeholders, and external partners to support the federal IT portfolio.
β’ In-depth understanding of federal contracting principles, including FAR, DFARS, GSA Schedule, and management of other contract vehicles.
β’ Prior experience in negotiating teaming agreements and familiarity with joint venture structures.
β’ Knowledge of standard cost models and work types under the Service Contract Act (SCA).
β’ Proven experience in CDRL tracking and management of contract deliverables.
β’ Ability to evaluate proposal responses for contractual compliance before submission.
β’ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to engage with government officials and senior leadership.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
β’ Capability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced small business setting.
β’ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Adobe/PDF, Excel, and Word.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or a related field is preferred.
β’ 3β5 years of experience in federal contract management; experience in GovCon is essential.
β’ Ability to secure a U.S. government security clearance if necessary.
β’ Capacity to remain stationary for extended periods and operate standard office equipment and computing devices.
