Contracts Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Review, edit, and negotiate sales contracts, escalating significant issues to relevant stakeholders as needed.

• Collaborate with company attorneys to ensure that contracts are in line with current legal and compliance standards.

• Work cross-functionally to facilitate the smooth progression of deals through the sales process.

• Develop and implement playbooks, policies, and procedures to maintain consistency and compliance in contracts.

• Oversee operations, including workflow management and system administration.

• Provide general support to the AlphaSense legal team concerning contract-related issues.

• Report to the Managing Counsel, Commercial Contracts.

• Collaborate with Product, Security, Privacy, Compliance, and Marketing teams as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, with a strong focus on sales agreements.

• Ability to analyze and assess global sales contracts, including Master Services Agreements, Order Forms, Statements of Work, Purchase Orders, and Service Level Agreements.

• Excellent business acumen.

• A strong commitment to providing timely support and achieving results.

• Experience in managing a high volume of tasks for multiple stakeholders at once, prioritizing based on business impact.

• Familiarity with developing and adhering to contract playbooks.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Ability to engage with internal and external professionals from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience with contracts for artificial intelligence services, contract management systems, and in a high-growth technology environment is a plus.
