Contracts Manager – Advanced Structures

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance and representation for the organization regarding contractual issues.

• Ensure that contractual activities align with corporate policies and procedures.

• Analyze requests for proposals from U.S. Government and commercial clients.

• Determine proposal requirements and evaluate terms and conditions.

• Assist in the development of proposals and obtain necessary management approvals for submissions.

• Negotiate and finalize complex contracts with customers.

• Identify risks associated with contracts and business transactions, offering alternative mitigation strategies.

• Support program management teams while comprehending the technical details of products and services.

• Provide strategic insights, recommendations, and counsel on contractual issues.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts concerning intellectual property, indemnity, and liability matters.

• Prepare documentation for legal and contractual negotiations and relationships.

• Maintain precise historical records of contracts.

• Manage a diverse array of projects of varying complexities simultaneously.

⛳️ Requirements

• A university degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience.

• Experience with U.S. Government contracts.

• Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and similar regulations.

• U.S. citizenship is necessary, as only U.S. citizens can access information under this program/contract.

• Expertise in U.S. Government and commercial contracting, as well as contract negotiation.

• Proficient in redlining, drafting, summarizing contract terms, negotiating, writing letters, and managing both commercial and military contracts.

• Capability to work effectively within integrated project teams and adhere to corporate governance, policies, and procedures.

• Highly organized, adaptable, results-driven, and adept at managing competing priorities.
