This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.
β’ Provide guidance and representation for the organization regarding contractual issues.
β’ Ensure that contractual activities align with corporate policies and procedures.
β’ Analyze requests for proposals from U.S. Government and commercial clients.
β’ Determine proposal requirements and evaluate terms and conditions.
β’ Assist in the development of proposals and obtain necessary management approvals for submissions.
β’ Negotiate and finalize complex contracts with customers.
β’ Identify risks associated with contracts and business transactions, offering alternative mitigation strategies.
β’ Support program management teams while comprehending the technical details of products and services.
β’ Provide strategic insights, recommendations, and counsel on contractual issues.
β’ Collaborate with subject matter experts concerning intellectual property, indemnity, and liability matters.
β’ Prepare documentation for legal and contractual negotiations and relationships.
β’ Maintain precise historical records of contracts.
β’ Manage a diverse array of projects of varying complexities simultaneously.
β’ A university degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience.
β’ Experience with U.S. Government contracts.
β’ Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and similar regulations.
β’ U.S. citizenship is necessary, as only U.S. citizens can access information under this program/contract.
β’ Expertise in U.S. Government and commercial contracting, as well as contract negotiation.
β’ Proficient in redlining, drafting, summarizing contract terms, negotiating, writing letters, and managing both commercial and military contracts.
β’ Capability to work effectively within integrated project teams and adhere to corporate governance, policies, and procedures.
β’ Highly organized, adaptable, results-driven, and adept at managing competing priorities.
