Contracts Manager – Advanced Structures

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance and representation for the organization regarding contractual issues.

• Ensure that all contractual activities align with corporate policies and procedures.

• Analyze requests for proposals from U.S. Government and commercial customers.

• Determine proposal requirements and assess terms and conditions.

• Assist in the development of proposals and secure necessary management approvals.

• Negotiate and finalize complex contracts with customers.

• Identify risks related to contracts and transactions, offering alternatives for mitigation.

• Support program management teams while gaining an understanding of the technical aspects of products and services.

• Deliver strategic analysis, recommendations, and advice on contractual matters.

• Provide counsel on issues related to intellectual property, indemnity, and liability.

• Prepare documentation for legal and contract negotiations and maintain relationships.

• Keep accurate records of historical contracts.

• Oversee multiple high-volume projects of varying complexity.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related discipline with at least 5 years of experience.

• Experience with U.S. Government contracts.

• Familiarity with FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and related regulations.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.

• Proficient in both U.S. Government and commercial contracting.

• Experienced in contract negotiation.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within integrated project teams.

• Advanced skills in contracting, including redlining, drafting, summarizing terms, negotiating, letter writing, and managing both commercial and military contracts.

• Highly organized and adaptable to fast-paced environments.

• Outstanding communication abilities.

• Demonstrated critical thinking and results-oriented approach.
