This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
β’ Evaluate service capabilities and contractor performance to pinpoint strengths, weaknesses, and areas for enhancement.
β’ Recruit and onboard contractors based on evaluations, acting as the main point of communication and escalation.
β’ Create and manage a grading system for contractor performance.
β’ Review audits to confirm adherence to HD Supply standards.
β’ Instruct contractors on quality benchmarks and procedural guidelines.
β’ Facilitate connections between contractors and sales teams by conveying service capabilities to sales representatives.
β’ Address contractor inquiries related to project specifications, regulatory compliance, and customer expectations.
β’ Utilize QuickBase to evaluate programming requirements for future expansion and maintain precise, integral data.
β’ Engage in strategic discussions regarding potential integration with organizational platforms and systems.
β’ Authorize contractors' licenses in QuickBase for approved services.
β’ Assess scopes of work for adherence to licensing regulations.
β’ Offer backup licensing expertise during project success discussions.
β’ Diagnose and resolve intricate problems.
β’ Independently identify approaches to solutions.
β’ May oversee project and assignment completion, which includes planning, assigning, monitoring, assessing progress and accuracy, and evaluating outcomes.
β’ Foster employees' professional growth without authority for hiring or firing.
β’ Must live in Georgia, Texas, California, or Florida.
β’ Over 5 years of experience in multi-family or commercial construction projects as an Electrical or HVAC/Mechanical contractor.
β’ Work experience and education that meet the eligibility requirements for obtaining Electrical or HVAC/Mechanical state contractor licenses for organizational purposes.
β’ Experience in managing contractor licensing, registrations, and regulatory compliance across various states and local jurisdictions.
β’ Strong understanding of contractor qualification processes, including licensing verification, insurance compliance, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
β’ Proven ability to recruit, develop, and maintain networks of qualified contractors supporting renovation, construction, or installation services.
β’ Proficient in working with compliance tracking systems, databases, and reporting tools such as QuickBase.
β’ Established ability to collaborate across functions with sales, operations, project management, and leadership teams.
β’ Typically requires a BS/BA in a related discipline and generally 5-8 years of experience in a related field OR an MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field.
β’ Certification is required in specific areas.
β’ Willingness and ability to travel overnight 20% to 50% of the time.
