Contractor – Advanced Practice Provider, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Provide safe, high-quality, patient-centered primary care through both asynchronous and synchronous methods.

• Utilize clinical judgment to effectively triage, manage, and refer patients as needed.

• Establish strong, ongoing patient relationships that foster sustained engagement and exceptional patient satisfaction.

• Handle a dynamic caseload of at least 20 asynchronous cases daily.

• Communicate with clarity and empathy, while reinforcing team communication standards.

• Quickly become proficient in Sana’s clinical platforms, AI-assisted workflows, and tools; independently resolve issues and enhance workflows.

• Actively participate in developing clinical protocols, workflows, or operations that improve patient experience, quality, or efficiency.

• Collaborate with clinical, product, and operations teams effectively.

• Leverage data and clinical insights to aid in proactive panel management, close care gaps, and enhance outcomes.

• Provide care for adult patients focusing on preventive care, chronic disease management, and common acute issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 9:00am to 5:00pm CT.

• Active and unrestricted Texas NP or PA license; additional active state licenses are a plus.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience providing primary care to adult patients.

• Strong clinical judgment and a profound commitment to delivering high-quality primary care.

• Enthusiasm for primarily providing asynchronous care, with comfort in making thoughtful clinical decisions via messaging, escalating to synchronous care when necessary.

• Ability to efficiently multitask and thrive in fast-paced settings.

• Technologically savvy, curious, and innovative in approach.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Team-oriented, low-ego collaborator who approaches teammates with compassionate honesty to collectively solve challenges.

• A proactive mindset paired with intelligent risk-taking.

• Mission-driven and eager to enhance healthcare for both patients and clinicians.

• Experience in virtual care and/or startups is an advantage.
