Contract Talent Acquisition Sourcer, Sales – APJ

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Identify, screen, and engage with passive candidates for sales positions across the APJ region utilizing LinkedIn, online research, and various outbound methods.

• Develop diverse candidate pipelines emphasizing talent from a broad spectrum of backgrounds and experiences.

• Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to grasp role specifications, business objectives, and ideal candidate profiles.

• Analyze talent markets and collect insights on competitors, locations, and candidate pools.

• Evaluate candidate suitability for positions, teams, and alignment with GitLab's values, providing recommendations.

• Qualify and screen candidates while establishing and sustaining talent benches across multiple countries in APJ.

• Ensure a positive candidate experience through considerate outreach, prompt communication, and relationship development.

• Enhance sourcing processes, outreach strategies, and research techniques.

• Keep precise records of activities and candidate information in applicant tracking and recruiting systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Relevant experience in recruiting and/or sourcing, particularly in sourcing passive candidates within a fully outbound environment.

• Proven experience sourcing for Account Executive and other sales positions, preferably in the software industry.

• Excellent research capabilities with the ability to identify, map, and engage talent across competitive regional and global markets.

• Experience collaborating directly with recruiters and hiring managers to align on hiring requirements and adapt sourcing strategies accordingly.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple searches, deadlines, and competing priorities.

• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruiting tools.

• Experience with Greenhouse or LinkedIn Recruiter is preferred.

• Comfort in working remotely within an asynchronous environment.

• Openness to learn and utilize tools such as GitLab.
