Contract Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Prepare, assess, and coordinate contracts and agreements to facilitate organizational operations.

• Draft and amend contracts, modifications, and agreements in accordance with organizational needs.

• Examine contract documents for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to policies.

• Monitor contract lifecycle activities, including renewals, updates, and approvals.

• Confirm contractor eligibility and compliance through necessary checks and documentation.

• Oversee contract performance and identify any compliance or performance issues.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure contracts are precise, executable, and compliant with regulatory standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, with six (6) years of experience in a business or physical or behavioral health care environment where contracts and subcontracts are frequently utilized to deliver services; OR an Associate's degree with four (4) years of relevant experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with two (2) years of relevant experience; OR a combination of education and experience equivalent to the above.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Must reside within North Carolina.

• Must be willing to travel within the catchment area as necessary.

• All applicants are required to pass a drug test as a condition of employment.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a Business-related field.

• Resume should detail employer names, dates of service, average weekly hours worked, key job responsibilities, educational background, and any relevant licensure/certification information.
