This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Idaho, +3 more states.
• Act as the main contracts resource for designated Pods, Business Units, and Division Priorities.
• Oversee intake, project consultation, due diligence assessments, agreement formulation, legal collaboration, approval processes, signature management, amendments, and contract closure activities.
• Track agreement status, deliverables, contractual commitments, and compliance obligations.
• Assist in contract execution and implementation processes.
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, Delegation of Authority standards, and risk management protocols.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Grants, and Operations to facilitate effective contract management.
• Work alongside Project Managers, Program Managers, Award Managers, and other personnel throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Offer guidance on contract procedures, templates, documentation necessities, approval pathways, and organizational standards.
• Coordinate with the Division contracts structure to ensure unified service delivery.
• Engage in and support the Contracts Community of Practice.
• Foster consistent contracting practices, tools, and procedures within the Division.
• Contribute to process enhancements, system improvements, organizational initiatives, and change management efforts.
• Cultivate constructive working relationships that encourage collaboration, accountability, and effective management of organizational resources.
• Deliver contract services, ensure compliance, provide stakeholder support, and enhance operational effectiveness within assigned areas.
• Identify and escalate compliance issues, risks, and operational challenges.
• Maintain ongoing professional growth and participate in related contracting training activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Finance, Legal Studies, Environmental Policy, Public Administration, or a related field, along with 3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination.
• TNC Certified Contract Specialist (CCS) certification or the ability to obtain certification within specified timeframes.
• Experience in developing or managing contracts, agreements, amendments, or similar business documents.
• Preferred experience in a non-profit role with similar responsibilities.
• Capability to interpret and implement established policies, procedures, and business requirements.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including state directors, project managers, legal teams, and HR.
• Familiarity with contract management systems, document management systems, financial systems, or related technology platforms.
• Multi-lingual abilities and/or multi-cultural experience are valued.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a complex, mission-oriented setting.
• Experience working within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary, or geographically dispersed organization.
