Contract Negotiator II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Recruit physicians, hospitals, and ancillary service providers to establish network participation agreements in accordance with Corporate, health plan, and State regulations.

• Ensure that all required documentation and information are accurately included.

• Build and develop a network for a specific region and a designated group of providers.

• Lead the recruitment efforts for assigned physicians, hospitals, and ancillary services.

• Guarantee that all standard contracts are thorough and meet organizational objectives.

• Facilitate and supervise provider setup and contract configuration to ensure accurate claims processing.

• Initiate outreach and identify potential providers based on geographic and specialty needs, while updating the database accordingly.

• Collaborate with internal teams and contracted providers to ensure contract compliance is implemented and maintained.

• Perform additional duties as required.

• Adhere to all policies and standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without the necessity for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in contracting, contract analysis, provider relations, or provider-related roles in a hospital or physician’s office/group setting.

• Preferred familiarity with State and/or Federal healthcare programs (Medicaid, Medicare).

• Experience negotiating with large health systems is preferred.

• Preferred experience with service level negotiations.

• Knowledge of code-level payment methodologies is advantageous.

• Experience with Out of Network Agreements is preferred.

• Occasional travel is required.
