Contract Manufacturing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyze and implement the Supply Chain network project roadmap to enhance demand planning, growth, and innovation.

• Identify, evaluate, negotiate contracts with, and onboard new contract manufacturers.

• Facilitate the introduction of new products and enhanced market entry strategies through proficient management.

• Oversee financials and performance across the contract manufacturer network, including pricing, chargebacks, allowances, rebates, penalties, scorecards, cost tracking, and KPIs.

• Create operational processes to enhance service, optimize flow, reduce waste, and foster profitable sales growth.

• Act as the escalation point for contract manufacturer issues and devise sustainable corrective measures.

• Investigate industry market dynamics, recognize emerging trends, and suggest innovation opportunities.

• Assist in developing business cases and persuade stakeholders to embrace proposals.

• Collaborate on risk management to guarantee continuity of supply.

• Lead quarterly executive business reviews and monthly working-team business assessments.

• Aid in annual Category Strategy updates and presentations.

• Ensure projects are in alignment with supply chain strategy, company objectives, and financial goals.

• Confirm adherence to food safety, quality, and SQF practices with cross-functional teams and suppliers.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or equivalent experience.

• 7+ years of operations and process improvement experience, preferably in manufacturing.

• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Warehouse Management System (WMS).

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; advanced skills in Excel.

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and report writing database tools is a plus.

• Willingness to travel to contract manufacturers approximately once per quarter.

• Ability to multitask and work independently with meticulous attention to detail and follow-up reporting.

• Self-motivated and results-oriented.

• Strategic mindset with an understanding of how decisions influence and support company strategy.
