Contract Insurance Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Georgia.

📋 Description

• Lead engaging courses on insurance prelicensing and ethics in a virtual classroom setting.

• Simplify complex insurance concepts into clear, actionable explanations.

• Foster an interactive learning atmosphere that promotes participation, inquiries, and discussions.

• Prepare thoroughly for each class with a solid grasp of the curriculum and instructional resources.

• Tailor teaching methods to accommodate various learner needs and comprehension levels.

• Address learner inquiries during class sessions and via designated support channels.

• Assist learners in navigating challenging concepts and reinforce essential material for licensing examinations.

• Collaborate with fellow instructors and faculty to ensure consistent, accurate support for learners.

• Provide constructive feedback to highlight areas requiring further preparation.

• Acquire a working knowledge of Pass Perfect's insurance curriculum, which includes textbooks, handouts, online learning tools, question banks, and presentations.

• Keep abreast of current insurance laws, regulations, and industry developments.

• Aid in updating classroom presentations and instructional content.

• Identify opportunities for enhancing instructional materials.

• Communicate availability for teaching to the Faculty Manager for effective course scheduling.

• Work alongside instructors and internal teams to deliver a consistent, high-quality educational experience.

• Share learner feedback and instructional observations to enhance courses and resources.

• Experience in the insurance industry with a robust understanding of concepts pertinent to insurance licensing education.

• Exceptional presentation and classroom facilitation abilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts in an accessible manner.

• A genuine enthusiasm for education and a commitment to helping aspiring insurance professionals thrive.

• Confidence in engaging and interacting with learners in a virtual classroom environment.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities.

• Proficiency in using Zoom and other virtual learning technologies.

• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with other instructors and internal teams.

• Bachelor's degree (preferred).

• 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry (preferred).

• Background in teaching, training, facilitating, or presenting insurance-related content (preferred).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (preferred).

• Experience with a learning management system (LMS) (preferred).
