This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Prepare, assess, revise, comment on, and modify commercial agreements, with a focus on Work Orders, NDAs/CDAs, Start Up Agreements, Letters of Intent, and Change Orders.
• Evaluate and assist in the negotiation of more intricate agreements, such as Master Service Agreements and Data Privacy Agreements, with guidance from senior staff and escalation to subject matter experts as necessary.
• Effectively manage and prioritize assigned contracting cases independently.
• Accurately maintain essential legal terms, documents, and case information in Salesforce.
• Work collaboratively with Sales, subject matter experts, and colleagues from various departments to address contracting inquiries and provide updates.
• Keep organized records of contracts, approvals, agreement versions, and electronic signatures.
• Assist with departmental initiatives, training, and audit-related tasks as required.
• Relevant education and/or practical experience in commercial contracting, legal operations, contract management, or a related field; a law degree is not necessary.
• Direct experience in drafting, reviewing, redlining, commenting on, or editing contracts, with active involvement in contractual language rather than just contract administration or signature processing.
• Familiarity with Work Orders or similar commercial agreements.
• Knowledge of NDAs/CDAs, MSAs, DPAs, or other commercial contracts is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Capability to manage various priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic, client-focused environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Professional interaction with internal stakeholders, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with Salesforce or a similar contract, case, or document management system.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, including redlining and commenting features.
• Basic knowledge of Excel.
• Familiarity with Adobe or DocuSign is a plus.
• Ability to work remotely within the United States while effectively collaborating with colleagues across different time zones.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical and/or CRO industry is beneficial.
