📋 Description

• Evaluate and design data sources pertinent to pharmaceutical commercial operations and drug development.

• Create and sustain semantic layers, ontologies, taxonomies, and knowledge representations for AI-driven applications.

• Align pharmaceutical entities, products, and terminology with standardized, normalized, and preferred terms.

• Utilize pharmaceutical controlled vocabularies and ontologies to enhance data consistency, discoverability, and interoperability.

• Facilitate entity resolution, terminology mapping, data normalization, and semantic data integration across various sources, especially within a commercial context.

• Partner with data engineering, analytics, and AI teams to elevate data quality and context for downstream applications.

• Organize domain-specific information to ensure precise and dependable AI retrieval and responses.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in biopharmaceutical data, particularly in an omnichannel marketing environment.

• Comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, controlled vocabularies, and data standards related to drug development and commercialization.

• Practical experience with SNOMED CT, MedDRA, and/or RxNorm.

• Proficiency in data engineering, data modeling, entity resolution, terminology mapping, or data normalization.

• Understanding of ontologies, taxonomies, knowledge graphs, or semantic layers.

• Capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Analytics, Data Engineering, and AI/ML.

• Preferred: Experience with pharmaceutical commercial data, product data, reference data, or master data management.

• Preferred: Familiarity with AI/ML, Generative AI, RAG, semantic search, or context engineering.

• Preferred: Experience in integrating data from various sources and aligning entities to standardized terminology.
