Content Specialist – QC, Tamil

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Evaluate images and videos prior to their publication.

• Assess spelling, grammar, translation, and language precision.

• Ensure that content is both culturally and contextually appropriate for each language.

• Detect blurred images, substandard layouts, incorrect text placement, low-quality edits, and misleading information.

• Review content related to festivals, devotional themes, wishes, motivation, Suvichar, political topics, and trending subjects.

• Confirm language, category, tags, and metadata accuracy.

• Prevent the inclusion of cross-language, duplicate, and irrelevant content in the feed.

• Adhere to and maintain a clear quality control checklist and standards.

• Provide consistent feedback to creators and editors.

• Monitor recurring issues and emphasize quality concerns at both creator and language levels.

• Collaborate with Content Ops, Growth, and Marketing teams during significant events and festivals.

• Ensure quick turnaround times while upholding content quality.

• A Bachelor’s degree in any field from an accredited university.

• Proficient in the relevant regional language.

• Strong grasp of local culture, festivals, trends, and social media content.

• Exceptional attention to detail and a quality-centric mindset.

• Capable of swiftly identifying linguistic, visual, and contextual mistakes.

• Basic knowledge of image and video editing, as well as design quality standards.

• Ability to manage high volumes of content during events and campaigns.

• Effective communication and feedback skills.

• Adaptable to work in a fast-paced content environment.

• Prior experience in content quality control, moderation, or content operations is preferable.

• Keen eye for emotionally impactful or viral content.

• Familiarity with the content consumption habits of Indian tier 2 and 3 audiences.
