This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the content strategy and editorial calendars for the Day Translations and Day Interpreting websites.
• Assess, plan, create, update, consolidate, and remove content in alignment with customer needs, search intent, keywords, and business objectives.
• Oversee writers and editors, including recruiting, evaluating, assigning, briefing, reviewing, editing, and providing feedback.
• Conduct personal research, write, edit, optimize, and publish content.
• Manage the content process from assignment through expert review, design, SEO checks, approval, and publication.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure pages are readable, mobile-friendly, accessible, and easy to navigate.
• Publish content via the content management system and confirm the accuracy and functionality of live pages.
• Own SEO enhancement strategies, including keyword research, competitor analysis, content audits, search-intent evaluations, and on-page optimization.
• Coordinate technical SEO adjustments related to crawling, indexing, redirects, canonical tags, XML sitemaps, broken links, mobile usability, Core Web Vitals, and structured data.
• Assist in website migrations and redesigns by overseeing content inventories, URL mapping, redirect planning, prelaunch checks, and postlaunch monitoring.
• Manage ethical link-building and digital PR initiatives.
• Implement E-E-A-T principles, verify factual claims, and ensure responsible AI usage through human editing and fact-checking.
• Enhance calls to action, service descriptions, inquiry paths, registrations, demonstrations, and other conversion avenues.
• Collaborate with sales and operations to grasp customer inquiries, objections, terminology, and purchasing decisions.
• Provide weekly updates and monthly performance summaries for each website.
• Utilize Google Search Console, GA4, and SEO tools to uncover opportunities and assess outcomes.
• Set baselines, conduct audits of websites and workflows, publish and refresh priority content, enhance internal linking, and deliver performance reviews and roadmaps.
• Proven track record in managing website content and enhancing organic performance.
• Exceptional English writing and editing capabilities, with the ability to create clear, persuasive American English content.
• Strong experience in managing writers, briefs, editorial calendars, deadlines, and publishing processes.
• Practical knowledge in keyword research, on-page SEO, technical SEO, internal linking, content audits, and link building.
• Proficient in using analytics and SEO tools to identify issues and prioritize tasks.
• Experience with a content management system.
• Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
• Ability to perform meticulous work independently while overseeing contributions from others.
• Availability for a full-time role and a long-term commitment to the organization.
• Preferred background in translation, interpreting, localization, or other B2B services.
• Preferred experience with multilingual websites and international audiences.
• Preferred experience in healthcare, legal, government, or other sectors requiring thorough factual review.
• Preferred experience with website redesigns, migrations, and substantial content launches.
• Preferred experience in conversion enhancement and collaboration with sales teams.
