This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Lead and execute the monthly financial closing process.

• Ensure the timely and standardized delivery of consolidated financial information in dollars to the headquarters in Ecuador.

• Manage compliance with local tax obligations in Peru and intercompany responsibilities.

• Apply criteria from international agreements and foreign exchange differentials.

• Assess, propose, and facilitate the integration or migration of the chart of accounts and local accounting records to QuickBooks.

• Optimize data traceability.

• Coordinate regional accounting and procurement activities.

• Ensure immediate response times to expedite billing and resolve issues.

• Report directly to the financial headquarters in Ecuador.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a valid legal authorization to sign financial statements in Peru.

• A minimum of 3 to 4 years of verifiable experience in general and tax accounting positions within service or technology sectors (software, consulting, intangibles).

• Extensive knowledge of local tax legislation, periodic tax obligations, and electronic invoicing regulations.

• Strong understanding of intercompany transactions, international double taxation treaties, multi-currency conversion, and exchange rate treatment.

• Practical experience operating or implementing accounting systems and ERPs (preferably experience with QuickBooks, SAP, or local accounting systems).

• Ability to independently manage priorities, anticipate deadlines and internal audit requirements, and propose concrete solutions.

• Proficient communication skills with agility, clarity, and a sense of urgency when interacting with regional finance leaders.

• Flexibility to operate in dual accounting frameworks, adapt to regulations across multiple LATAM jurisdictions, and structure processes in dynamic environments.
