This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Lead and execute the monthly accounting closure.

• Ensure timely and standardized delivery of consolidated financial information in dollars to the headquarters in Ecuador.

• Manage compliance with local tax obligations in Peru and intercompany requirements.

• Apply criteria from international agreements and differential exchange rates.

• Evaluate, propose, and facilitate the integration or migration of the local chart of accounts and accounting records to QuickBooks.

• Optimize data traceability.

• Coordinate regional accounting functions and purchasing.

• Ensure immediate response times to expedite billing and resolve issues.

• Report directly to the financial headquarters in Ecuador.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a valid legal authorization to sign financial statements in Peru.

• At least 3 to 4 years of proven experience in general and tax accounting positions within the service or technology sectors (software, consulting, intangibles).

• Comprehensive knowledge of local tax legislation, periodic tax obligations, and electronic invoicing regulations.

• Strong understanding of intercompany transactions, international double taxation treaties, multi-currency conversion, and exchange rate treatment.

• Hands-on experience operating or implementing accounting systems and ERPs; familiarity with QuickBooks, SAP, or local accounting systems is desirable.

• Ability to manage priorities independently, anticipate deadlines and internal audit requirements, and propose concrete solutions.

• Skill in communicating swiftly, clearly, and with a sense of urgency with regional finance leaders.

• Flexibility to operate within dual accounting frameworks, adapt to regulations across multiple LATAM jurisdictions, and structure processes in dynamic environments.
