This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Peru.

📋 Description

• Lead and execute the monthly accounting close.

• Ensure timely and standardized delivery of consolidated financial information in dollars to the headquarters in Ecuador.

• Manage compliance with local tax obligations in Peru and intercompany requirements.

• Apply criteria from international agreements and foreign exchange differentials.

• Assess, propose, and facilitate the integration or migration of the local chart of accounts and accounting records to QuickBooks.

• Optimize data traceability.

• Coordinate regional accounting functions and procurement.

• Ensure immediate response times to expedite billing and resolve incidents.

• Report directly to the financial headquarters in Ecuador.

⛳️ Requirements

• Authorized Public Accountant (CPA) with a valid legal certification to sign financial statements in Peru.

• Minimum verifiable experience of 3 to 4 years in general accounting and tax positions within service or technology companies (software, consulting, intangibles).

• Comprehensive knowledge of local tax legislation, periodic tax obligations, and electronic invoicing regulations.

• Solid understanding of intercompany transactions, international double taxation treaties, multi-currency conversion, and foreign exchange treatment.

• Practical experience in operating or implementing accounting systems and ERPs (preferably QuickBooks, SAP, or local accounting systems).

• Ability to independently manage priorities, anticipate deadlines and internal audit requirements, and propose concrete solutions.

• Skill in communicating swiftly, clearly, and urgently with regional finance leaders.

• Flexibility to operate under dual accounting schemes, adapt to regulations from multiple LATAM jurisdictions, and structure processes in dynamic environments.
