This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Prepare and record monthly closing journal entries along with the corresponding supporting documentation.

• Generate financial reports and analyses related to revenues and accounting operations.

• Perform account reconciliations, including banks, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and the general ledger.

• Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in financial records and transactions.

• Support automation initiatives and process improvements within the finance department.

• Keep documentation organized and updated in accordance with established policies and procedures.

• Address internal inquiries and collaborate with various departments to ensure the accuracy of financial information.

• Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

• Contribute to the continuous optimization of financial processes and controls.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Public Accounting, Finance, or related fields.

• Previous experience in financial accounting, reconciliations, and closing processes.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial report preparation.

• Advanced Excel skills.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and financial regulations.

• Advanced English proficiency.

• University degree / professional qualification in Public Accounting.
