Consultor/a Médico/a en Veterinaria

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to clients via phone and email regarding diagnostic tests, lab results, treatment options, and medical case management.

• Document inquiries using the department's management system software.

• Acquire knowledge about IDEXX tests, including their technical requirements, clinical utility, and result interpretation.

• Continuously enhance medical knowledge through self-study, scientific meetings, ongoing training, and literature review.

• Conduct medical validation of results and related tasks.

• Adhere to the laboratory's Quality Policy and objectives for good laboratory practices.

• Work Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with a one-hour break.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine to practice veterinary medicine in Spain.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in veterinary clinics or a similar setting.

• Advanced knowledge in veterinary medicine.

• Fluent Spanish speaker.

• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Capacity to make appropriate management decisions.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Proficient computer skills.

• Ability to perform administrative tasks within standard operating procedures.

• Capability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.

• Extensive use of the phone.

• Reliable internet connection and a suitable workspace at home.
