Consulting Solutions Executive – Hybrid Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Design and implement strategies to broaden CDW Hybrid Infrastructure's clientele and meet bookings, revenue, and gross profit objectives.

• Develop and sustain a comprehensive understanding of Hybrid Infrastructure capabilities, service offerings, and market positioning.

• Foster and oversee relationships with essential stakeholders within client organizations.

• Identify, engage, qualify, and nurture new business prospects.

• Assist in managing the complete sales lifecycle, which includes account planning, research, pursuit, and closure.

• Create Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Statements of Work (SOWs) to support customer solutions.

• Leverage data center expertise across VMware, HPE, Dell, and Cisco technologies when crafting solutions.

• Provide support to state, local, federal, aerospace, and defense clients.

• Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts, Practice Leadership, Sales Management, Marketing, and external partners to ensure successful sales cycles.

• Track industry trends that affect client strategies and investment choices.

• Maintain precise sales pipeline reporting and forecasting in Salesforce.

• Offer mentorship and onboarding assistance to entry-level Solutions Executives.

• Represent CDW at industry events, speaking engagements, and public communications.

• Deliver customer support and technical leadership in a dynamic environment with fluctuating priorities and limited resources.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related technical discipline with 8+ years of experience in identifying opportunities and managing the complete lifecycle of sales for Hybrid Infrastructure services and products, or 12+ years of equivalent experience.

• Expertise in at least five Hybrid Infrastructure focus areas, such as IBM Power, Mainframe, Storage, Mainframe Storage, Hyper Converged Infrastructure (HCI), Data Protection, Enterprise Networking (Campus), Data Center Networking, and Wireless.

• Proven data center expertise, especially with VMware, HPE, Dell, and Cisco technologies.

• Experience in developing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Statements of Work (SOWs).

• Background in enterprise sales, encompassing both strategic planning and execution.

• Demonstrated history of meeting or surpassing sales targets.

• Strong ownership mentality with the capability to achieve financial objectives.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building abilities.

• Capacity to coordinate efforts across internal teams and partner organizations.

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a high-paced, resource-limited environment.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.

• Experience as a security practitioner is advantageous.
