This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Collaborate with customer engineering teams on Neo4j implementations throughout the entire project lifecycle, from design to production deployment.
• Serve as the technical subject matter expert during consulting engagements, offering hands-on technical support.
• Create and implement graph data models for intricate relationships, high-performance querying, and analytics.
• Design and construct Neo4j solutions that fulfill both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Organize graph data for advanced analytics, search functionalities, and AI patterns like RAG.
• Integrate Neo4j with orchestration frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex.
• Provide advice to customers on data engineering and enhance data ingestion methods into Neo4j.
• Develop solution architectures tailored to customer project specifications.
• Clarify complex technical concepts to customer engineers and stakeholders.
• Contribute to solution proposals, effort assessments, statements of work (SOWs), and technical recommendations.
• Train and mentor customer teams on Neo4j and best practices in graph development.
• Collaborate with Neo4j sales, sales engineering, and support teams.
• Travel as necessary for customer engagements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Over 3 years of experience in designing and developing enterprise-level applications centered around data-driven or analytics systems.
• Proficient in data modeling and data structure design across relational, NoSQL, or graph databases.
• Experience in designing scalable software architectures within modern application development environments.
• Practical experience in data engineering for search, analytics, or AI-driven applications.
• Hands-on proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, JavaScript, Python, Go, or C#.
• Experience in deploying applications on Linux, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with source control and development processes using Git.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to present technical solutions effectively and cultivate customer relationships.
