Consultant – Data Protection, AI & Information Security

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to clients on the operational and strategic execution of the GDPR.

• Serve as an external Data Protection Officer (or deputy) when necessary.

• Assist organizations in the lawful implementation of AI solutions.

• Evaluate AI tools for compliance with data protection regulations and requirements, including the AI Act.

• Create Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).

• Perform external audits.

• Formulate practical data protection policies and concepts.

• Facilitate workshops and coaching sessions to enhance awareness of secure handling of sensitive data.

• Establish and evaluate Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), and oversee related IT compliance projects with support from IT security expertise.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant professional experience as a data protection consultant, Privacy Manager, or IT compliance consultant.

• Preferred relevant certifications, such as DSB TÜV/DEKRA or CIPP/E.

• Strong interest in IT and technology, especially AI technologies and cloud architectures.

• Understanding of the lawful use of AI and cloud infrastructures.

• A solution-oriented and organized approach, coupled with a proactive hands-on attitude.

• Exceptional communication skills and professionalism in client interactions.

• Ability to work effectively in a team.

• Proficient in German.

• Good command of English.

• Solid expertise in IT security, such as ISO 27001, TISAX, or NIS 2, is a significant advantage.
