This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Implement occupational health and safety regulations, guidelines, and frameworks.
• Provide advice, support, and engage in the prevention initiatives of the construction site management team.
• Serve as a subject-matter expert in the field of health and safety.
• Help enhance the capabilities of various project stakeholders, including external vendors.
• Execute designated tasks pertaining to the daily operations of site safety teams.
• Undertake assignments at construction sites for power plants, substations, and transmission lines.
• Document prevention activities in Enablon on a daily basis.
• Must possess a CNESST-issued Construction Health and Safety Coordinator (COSS) card.
• Extensive knowledge of critical hazards, including working at heights, energy sources, mobile vehicles, and lifting operations.
• Training relevant to the specific needs of hydroelectric operations is advantageous.
• Technological proficiency and aptitude for recording daily information.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 applications, especially Teams and Outlook.
• Capability to log prevention activities in Enablon.
• Willingness to travel is a plus.
