Construction Services Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Create detailed scopes of work for construction initiatives.

• Formulate extensive RFPs and provide guidance to clients on vendor selection and contract negotiations.

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to define project requirements and standards.

• Evaluate and analyze bids, negotiate contracts, and oversee contractor performance.

• Supervise daily construction activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and budget.

• Manage construction documentation, which includes submittals, RFIs, change orders, and daily logs.

• Conduct site inspections to track progress and ensure compliance.

• Address and resolve construction-related issues and conflicts.

• Act as the primary contact for designated client accounts.

• Provide clients with updates, reports, consultative advice, and strategic insights.

• Identify opportunities to enhance services within current accounts.

• Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations as well as company policies.

• Implement and uphold quality control programs.

• Foster communication among clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

• Conduct regular project meetings to discuss progress and challenges.

• Identify potential project risks and devise mitigation plans.

• Monitor project progress and resolve issues that may impact timelines or quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in Northern California.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Construction Management, or a related field; relevant experience in the roofing industry may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Current minimum Class B General Contractor License or the ability to obtain a General Contractor license in all Colorado jurisdictions.

• Supervisors license is highly preferred.

• At least 10 years of progressively responsible managerial and administrative experience in the construction and roofing sectors, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role.

• OSHA Certifications and familiarity with project site safety protocols.

• Capability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

• Ability to climb ladders to rooftops, including steep and low-slope roofs, while performing forensic inspections of roofing materials.
