Construction Project Manager – Internship/Co-Op

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Acquire project management expertise through involvement in construction initiatives for major corporate clients.

• Aid the Construction Program Management Team in evaluating construction progress.

• Participate in on-site assessments of construction progress in relation to the predetermined project timelines.

• Assist the Project Manager in overseeing and reporting on fieldwork.

• Support project documentation and reporting obligations.

• Create tracking and status reports utilizing Excel.

• Help in the validation and review of contracts, bills of materials, and change orders.

• Liaise with vendors.

• Respond appropriately to sensitive inquiries.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a 4-year degree in a construction-related field, or equivalent.

• Basic understanding of construction management terminology and processes.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Capability to communicate effectively with project teams, management, clients, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.

• Skill in prioritizing and managing a varied workload.

• Proactive attitude towards taking on new tasks and a strong desire to learn.

• High attention to detail.

• Ability to navigate ambiguity and work effectively in a diverse environment.

• Strong organizational and time management capabilities.

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

• Willingness to travel 10–50% as necessary, including potentially weekly site visits.

• Availability to work multi-shift schedules when required.
