This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Plan, oversee, and coordinate all facets of project scheduling, scope, and budget.
• Implement value engineering on projects by pinpointing cost-saving opportunities and ensuring material substitutions are equivalent.
• Engage with and manage project stakeholders effectively.
• Develop the Project Management Plan and budget proposal at the beginning of the project.
• Assess documents and relay client objectives and expectations to project team members.
• Formulate and communicate action plans throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• Collaborate with the cost management team on cost estimates, cost analyses, actual job cost reviews, and budget reconciliation.
• Facilitate the permitting process by submitting documents to local, state, and federal agencies.
• Ensure project design management adheres to client budgets, scope, schedules, and design standards.
• Create cost and revenue forecasts.
• Provide support for a major client across multiple EV charging station installations.
• Proven experience in managing the construction of intricate electrical or industrial projects.
• Willingness to travel semi-locally a few days per week.
• Proficient in preparing Project Management Plans and budget proposals.
• Experience in developing and executing action plans.
• Proven ability to monitor project scope and recommend adjustments as necessary.
• Capacity to prepare and convey cost and revenue forecasts.
• Familiarity with the permitting process and the ability to expedite it to meet project timelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Dependable, diligent, and thorough work ethic.
• Innovative and resourceful in effectively managing projects within tight timeframes.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, engineering, or construction management.
• Preference for candidates with electrical project experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
• Preferred certifications include CCM, PMP, PE, AIA, LEED.
