Construction Project Manager, EV Charging

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee assigned projects and coordinate the project team effectively.

• Maintain appropriate communication with clients.

• Manage and control project scope, budget, and scheduling objectives.

• Provide support to a prominent client for the installation of EV charging stations.

• Work remotely while assisting Northeast sites, with 25–50% travel required within the region.

• Plan, manage, and coordinate all facets of project schedule, scope, and costs.

• Implement value engineering by identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring material substitutions are equivalent.

• Engage with and manage project stakeholders.

• Create the Project Management Plan and fee budget/proposal at the beginning of the project.

• Assess documents and convey client goals and expectations to project team members.

• Develop and communicate action plans throughout the project lifecycle.

• Collaborate with the cost management team on cost estimates, cost studies, actual job cost reviews, and budget reconciliation.

• Facilitate permitting by preparing documents for local, state, and federal agencies and ensuring timely progress of permits.

• Ensure design management adheres to client project documents, budget, scope, schedule, and design standards.

• Prepare cost and revenue forecasts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in managing complex electrical or industrial construction projects.

• Willingness to travel semi-locally a few days per week.

• Experience in preparing Project Management Plans and fee/budget proposals.

• Proficient in developing and implementing action plans.

• Demonstrated capability to monitor project scope and recommend adjustments as needed.

• Ability to prepare and convey cost and revenue forecasts effectively.

• Understanding of the permitting process and the ability to navigate it to meet project timelines.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to understand how the role aligns with organizational goals.

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management, engineering, or construction management.

• Must reside near an airport in the Northeast region.
