Construction Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mississippi.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage multiple commercial mechanical projects concurrently.

• Create project budgets, timelines, and execution strategies.

• Supervise the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.

• Monitor project finances, project cost forecasting, and ensure profitability.

• Manage and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and progress updates.

• Act as the primary liaison for general contractors, owners, engineers, and suppliers.

• Collaborate with field supervisors, foremen, and safety personnel to ensure project execution meets plans and specifications.

• Participate in jobsite meetings and carry out project walkthroughs to assess progress.

• Uphold safety standards and guarantee compliance with relevant codes and regulations.

• Guide and mentor Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers.

• Ensure prompt project close-out, including punch list completion and turnover documentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in mechanical or commercial construction.

• Demonstrated experience in managing HVAC, plumbing, or process piping projects.

• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, project financial management, and cost controls.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and project management tools (e.g., Procore, Viewpoint, BIM 360).

• Capability to read and interpret construction drawings and mechanical specifications.

• Strong leadership qualities and team-building skills with a focus on solutions.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Willingness to travel to job sites and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (Preferred).

• OSHA 30 certification (Preferred).

• Experience with design-build, performance contracting, or negotiated mechanical contracts.

• Must be willing to travel 80-100% of the time.
