This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Oversee designated construction projects from the initial mobilization phase to final closeout.
• Coordinate the scope of work, schedules, labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor activities.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, contractual obligations, and site conditions.
• Create and sustain project schedules along with short-term work plans.
• Track progress, pinpoint delays, and implement corrective actions to achieve project milestones.
• Lead and provide support to Superintendents, Foremen, Site Leads, and field personnel.
• Define responsibilities and assess productivity and performance metrics.
• Oversee project budgets, labor hours, equipment expenses, and material costs.
• Report discrepancies and propose cost-control measures to enhance profitability.
• Manage the procurement and delivery of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain communication with clients, site leadership, and management on progress, staffing, risks, and issues.
• Identify changes in scope, document impacts on schedule and costs, and secure necessary approvals.
• Uphold company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and client site protocols.
• Organize safety meetings, inspections, and reporting on hazards and incidents.
• Conduct site walkthroughs to confirm work quality and adherence to compliance standards.
• Facilitate the correction of deficiencies and the completion of punch lists.
• Keep thorough project records, including daily reports, schedules, labor tracking, deliveries, change documentation, and closeout materials.
• Collaborate with HR and field leadership on staffing, onboarding, performance evaluations, attendance, employee relations, and timekeeping.
• Address project challenges and escalate issues that necessitate management intervention.
• Coordinate final inspections, client acceptance, demobilization, project handoff, and closeout documentation.
• Travel to assigned project sites across the United States and be away from home for extended periods.
• Adapt to flexible schedules, which may encompass nights, weekends, and overtime as needed by projects.
• Execute other related tasks as assigned.
• High school diploma or equivalent credential.
• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in construction project management, including supervising teams or coordinating project execution.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, specifications, and project schedules.
• Experience in managing project priorities, labor resources, budgets, and documentation effectively.
• OSHA 30 certification, or the ability to obtain certification within two months of hire.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, leadership, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate efficiently with clients and personnel across all levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Capability to learn the company’s project management and timekeeping systems.
• Ability to meet travel, scheduling, and essential job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Preferred: experience in commercial construction, projects involving warehouse or distribution facilities, or installation work in operational facilities.
• Preferred: experience in coordinating subcontractors, multiple trades, and projects with tight schedules.
• Preferred: degree or coursework in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Preferred: experience with change orders, cost forecasting, client reporting, and project closeout procedures.
• Frequent walking and standing during site inspections may be required.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and access work areas via stairs or ladders as necessary.
• Occasional capability to lift, push, or carry materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Required personal protective equipment must be utilized.
• Equipment operation necessitates proper training, certification, and authorization upon assignment.
