This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Manage small to medium-scale capital and tenant improvement projects independently from initiation to formal closeout.
• Oversee project delivery from start to finish, involving scope development, contractor procurement, scheduling, budgeting, client communication, quality assurance, and risk management.
• Assist with larger and more intricate regional projects under the mentorship of Senior Project Managers.
• Create project charters, schedules, work breakdown structures, and critical-path plans.
• Perform site visits to assess progress, quality, and safety; compile closeout packages that include as-builts, O&M manuals, and warranties.
• Acquire and manage general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors through a competitive bidding process.
• Negotiate contracts within authorized limits, oversee site logistics and vendor performance, and manage change orders.
• Lead project meetings, facilitate discussions, resolve action items, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Develop and oversee budgets, process purchase orders and invoices, and generate financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Act as the primary client contact, delivering status updates and presentations, anticipating needs, and providing solutions.
• Maintain project documentation, including file organization, distribution logs, tracking logs, and adherence to standards, client requirements, and regulatory codes.
• Take ownership of defined project phases or work packages on larger initiatives and engage in design reviews, value engineering, constructability assessments, capital planning, and portfolio evaluations.
• Participate in coaching sessions with senior project managers, apply lessons learned, and mentor junior team members.
• A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Real Estate, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in project management, construction management, or owner's representation.
• Proven experience in independently managing projects from initiation to closeout.
• A demonstrated history of managing small to medium-scale projects, typically ranging from $250K to $1M or involving multi-trade scopes.
• Accountability for scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Strong financial acumen, including budget development, cost tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to clients, senior stakeholders, and executive leadership.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Familiarity with project scheduling tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Procore, or similar platforms.
• High attention to detail and robust organizational skills.
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 25% within the account portfolio.
• PMP or CAPM certification is preferred.
• Experience with large corporate, institutional, or faith-based facility portfolios is preferred.
• Knowledge of construction contract documents, AIA forms, and standard project delivery methods is preferred.
• Familiarity with CMMS, IWMS, or capital project tracking platforms such as eFacility, Tririga, or Planon is preferred.
• LEED AP, CCM, or other relevant professional certifications are preferred.
• Experience in real estate services, general contracting, or owner's representation is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor or develop junior team members is preferred.
• Must reside in the geographic area indicated in the job posting.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship is required.
