Construction Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist the sales team by examining requests for proposals and bid documents to comprehend project requirements.

• Develop scopes of work and acquire competitive quotes for installation subcontracting.

• Collaborate with the Project Team to create quotes and generate proposals.

• Oversee standard orders and custom projects that involve installation subcontracting.

• Assess and confirm project-related information.

• Relay project specifics to stakeholders.

• Manage orders throughout the design and manufacturing process.

• Select and supervise subcontractors.

• Coordinate project timelines and responsibilities both internally and externally.

• Identify opportunities for profit enhancement and negotiate change orders.

• Analyze completed projects.

• Ensure overall project success and adherence to budget.

• Travel to project job sites as necessary from order placement to customer acceptance.

• Work collaboratively as a team member with minimal supervision.

• Share and implement suggestions for product and process enhancements.

• Maintain communication with Sales, customers, and project team members.

• Carry out other assigned tasks to fulfill customer expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Technology, or a related discipline.

• Prior experience in construction is preferred.

• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with familiarity with Microsoft software.

• Capability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.

• Willingness to travel, including evenings and weekends.

• Ability to travel by air and ground transportation.

• Adherence to the Daktronics Driver Eligibility Policy and successful motor vehicle record check.

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
