Construction Project Manager – AI & Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop and monitor construction schedules, key milestones, and budgets across various projects.

• Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.

• Monitor progress, identify risks and delays early, and facilitate resolution of issues.

• Work closely with architectural, procurement, and construction teams based in both India and the U.S.

• Leverage AI and automation tools to enhance efficiency in scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and contractor management.

• Create internal tools, dashboards, and workflows utilizing AI-assisted coding and no-code platforms.

• Automate repetitive tasks including progress reporting, cost tracking, RFIs, and status updates.

• Stay updated on emerging AI tools for construction and evaluate their potential applications.

• Generate clear and regular project reports for leadership, ideally through automation.

• Maintain accuracy and centralization of schedules, budgets, and project data.

• Simplify explanations of technical tools and project statuses for both construction and non-technical team members.

• Complete a practical hiring assignment utilizing AI tools to address a real construction project challenge.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-7 years of experience in construction project management, project controls, or planning.

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.

• Strong understanding of construction processes, including scheduling, budgeting, and contractor coordination.

• Practical experience in developing tools or automations using AI (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Lovable, Replit) or no-code platforms (e.g., Zapier, Make, Airtable).

• Proficient in Google Sheets.

• Familiarity with project management tools such as ClickUp, Procore, MS Project, or Primavera is advantageous.

• Experience with U.S. residential construction projects is essential.

• Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic, remote, and cross-cultural environment.
