This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assess contract plans and specifications for feasibility in construction.
• Evaluate the compliance of construction materials and workmanship.
• Supervise construction and renovation initiatives.
• Assist the construction team with daily operational requirements and special assignments.
• Manage renovation projects from inception to completion, including necessary administrative tasks.
• Inspect construction activities and deliver quality assurance services.
• Engage with contractors and their representatives at construction sites.
• Communicate with organizational stakeholders, share and review information, and make informed decisions.
• Collaborate with a variety of teams, vendors, and community stakeholders.
• Travel periodically to project sites, encompassing both active construction and renovation areas.
• Utilize office technology and construction-related equipment.
• Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from an accredited institution.
• A decade (10 years) of relevant specialized experience in construction and/or construction management.
• Previous experience collaborating with tribal communities in remote areas.
• Experience in managing residential, commercial, or mixed-use construction projects is highly advantageous.
• Strong preference for experience with federal construction projects.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, contracts, and technical documents.
• Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on safety and quality.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with diverse teams, vendors, and community stakeholders.
• Knowledge of construction software tools, scheduling applications, and standard office productivity software.
• Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Real ID or passport for commercial air travel.
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Capability to maintain broadband internet service with a minimum of 100 Mbps download / 20 Mbps upload for remote work; some roles may require 200–300 Mbps download / 25–35 Mbps upload.
• Cellular hotspot or fixed wireless cellular services are not acceptable as the primary connection.
• Willingness to work atypical hours during site visits as requested by the client or dictated by the role.
• Ability to be on one's feet at construction sites, including traversing varied terrain.
• Capacity to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb ladders.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Capability to obtain necessary PPE and work in environments with construction noise, dust, and other job-site conditions.
• Remote work arrangement.
• Eligibility for broadband internet expense reimbursement under company policy.
