This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Analyze plans, specifications, bid documents, and scopes of work to comprehend project sequencing and scheduling requirements.
• Assist in the estimating process during bidding by reviewing plans, scopes, anticipated sequencing, and creating preliminary construction schedules.
• Recognize scheduling assumptions, long-lead materials, subcontractor sequencing, owner decisions, and additional project considerations.
• Create comprehensive baseline schedules for awarded projects.
• Maintain up-to-date schedules for multiple projects at various construction phases.
• Conduct weekly progress assessments with Project Managers and Superintendents.
• Revise project schedules weekly using verified field progress data.
• Aid Superintendents with practical three-week look-ahead schedules.
• Coordinate and monitor subcontractor sequencing, material procurement, inspections, access requirements, and schedule-dependent activities.
• Monitor and report schedule impacts from RFIs, change orders, additional scope, unforeseen conditions, delays, design modifications, interruptions, material constraints, subcontractor availability, weather, and occupied-building circumstances.
• Identify conflicts, missed milestones, required decisions, resequencing opportunities, and time recovery options.
• Prepare scheduling reports and present scheduling information in both internal and external project meetings.
• Ensure schedule visibility through punch-list work, inspections, corrective actions, and closeout processes.
• Maintain records of scheduling assumptions, revisions, milestones, and significant impacts.
• Perform limited tasks related to schedule accuracy support, such as confirming procurement dates and tracking schedule-related decisions.
• Practical experience in developing and managing construction schedules based on plans, specifications, and scopes of work.
• Strong grasp of construction sequencing, activity relationships, dependencies, milestones, and scheduling constraints.
• Experience in updating schedules according to actual field progress and feedback from Project Managers and Superintendents.
• Capability to manage schedules for multiple active projects.
• Familiarity with subcontractor coordination, material procurement, inspections, and construction logistics.
• Ability to identify and effectively communicate schedule risks, delays, sequencing conflicts, and their impacts.
• Strong organizational, follow-through, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable participating in weekly schedule review meetings and delivering schedule updates.
• Capable of working independently and remaining accountable in a remote setting.
• Availability during WES Construction's established Pacific Time working hours.
• Preferred experience with commercial, multifamily, condominium, building-envelope, exterior, or occupied-building renovation projects.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams, Planner, Excel, or other scheduling and project management tools is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Work from home.
• WES Construction's U.S. holiday schedule includes New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
