Construction Manager II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee all on-site activities related to the construction of new homes in accordance with Century Complete standards and methodologies.

• Manage construction timelines for homes across various neighborhoods.

• Regularly engage with customers and conduct customer orientations throughout the construction process.

• Handle documentation, utility applications, pre-lot inspections, and quality checklists.

• Mentor vendors and report any failures to meet contractual obligations.

• Conduct daily quality assessments and routine job site safety inspections.

• Ensure compliance with erosion and sediment control standards at every job site.

• Process biweekly payment authorizations for vendors.

• Minimize unnecessary variance costs.

• Communicate any design or plan issues to the purchasing department.

• Source and recruit new vendors.

• Complete punch list work to adhere to closing deadlines.

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Construction Management within residential or multi-family construction in a high-production setting.

• A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related discipline is preferred.

• OSHA 10/30 Construction certification is required within 90 days of the hire date.

• Strong technical construction skills to manage resources and effectively diagnose and address field issues.

• Excellent interpersonal skills to navigate conflicts articulately and professionally with customers, building inspectors, and trade contractors.

• Capability to train trade contractors on construction methodologies and field problem-solving.

• Strong organizational skills for effectively scheduling all construction resources.
