This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and direct construction activities from project initiation to completion.
• Analyze engineering drawings, specifications, schedules, and contractual documents.
• Manage the sequencing of installation tasks.
• Ensure that project milestones and deadlines are consistently met.
• Recognize potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
• Track project progress and modify resource allocation as necessary.
• Lead and supervise site supervisors, subcontractors, and installation teams.
• Assign work tasks and distribute manpower efficiently.
• Offer technical direction on installation methods.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and site-specific safety standards.
• Enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and promote safe work practices.
• Perform site safety inspections and conduct toolbox talks.
• Identify safety hazards and initiate corrective actions.
• Ensure that installation processes adhere to engineering specifications and quality standards.
• Review completed work and coordinate the correction of any defects.
• Monitor daily and weekly progress in relation to project schedules.
• Collaborate with subcontractors to achieve production goals.
• Track project milestones and provide updates to management.
• Act as the primary on-site liaison for project stakeholders.
• Coordinate efforts with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Facilitate project meetings and deliver progress reports.
• Organize material delivery, storage, allocation, and inventory management.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily reports, progress logs, and issue tracking.
• Generate reports detailing progress, workforce, safety, and quality metrics.
• Document any delays, risks, corrective actions, and significant decisions.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
• At least 5 years of experience in construction management or a related area.
• Proven experience in managing subcontractors and overseeing field installation activities.
• Background in coordinating multiple trades on active construction sites.
• Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Willingness to travel up to 80-90% both domestically and internationally.
• Ability to communicate effectively through speech and hearing.
• Capability to occasionally lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend at the knees for tasks such as inspecting pallets or reviewing packing lists.
• Adherence to OSHA and site-specific safety regulations is essential.
