Construction Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary on-site leader responsible for safety, quality, scheduling, and budget performance.

• Exhibit strong leadership to maintain Saulsbury standards and ensure alignment with core values.

• Create work plans to safely execute a high-quality project.

• Proactively identify potential issues, resolve or mitigate them, and escalate when necessary.

• Manage resource scheduling for the company's workforce, subcontractors, and vendors.

• Oversee and support project administrative tasks, including cost control, progress monitoring, scheduling, forecasting, procurement, and related functions.

• Assist in recruiting and developing the construction workforce.

• Provide guidance and direction to craft superintendents, general foremen, and subcontractor site leaders.

• Collaborate with the Project Manager and others to identify and manage scope changes.

• Ensure responsible stewardship of Saulsbury and customer resources.

• Direct the construction schedule and budget while leading the on-site workforce.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of pertinent construction industry experience.

• At least 3 years of supervisory experience on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), PV, or comparable projects.

• Completion of a drug screening and background check is mandatory.

• Expertise in various construction domains, including electrical, earthwork, utilities, structures, and mechanical work.

• Knowledge of project management processes, including cost and schedule control, forecasting, and contract change management.

• A steadfast commitment to safety and quality standards.

• Exceptional leadership abilities, including goal-setting, upholding standards, fostering buy-in, and promoting constructive accountability.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the capability to address challenging project issues effectively.

• Willingness to travel and/or temporarily relocate to construction project sites.

• Capability to stand for extended durations.

• Ability to walk the property and laydown yards.

• Physical ability to carry loads of up to 50 pounds.
