Construction Asset Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct analysis and provide approval estimates for construction initiatives.

• Ensure that proposed plans and estimates meet property standards.

• Evaluate whether constructed buildings adhere to specifications along with material and cost estimates.

• Utilize knowledge of construction techniques and specifications for both existing and proposed housing.

• Review and give approval for contractor estimates.

• Monitor and document job cost variances.

• Collect photographic documentation to support estimates.

• Upload documentation into owner portals for approval.

• Conduct value engineering on estimates.

• Mentor and instruct estimators on client expectations.

• Support construction and acquisition projects as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a related field, or equivalent experience and education.

• 1-2 years of pertinent experience in the building and construction industry.

• Proven strong proficiency in MS Excel.

• Knowledge of construction methodologies and labor costs in the field.

• Solid understanding of material uses and costs.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a focus on quality.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• A mindset geared toward process improvement.

• Capability to handle competing priorities professionally.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• A genuine curiosity and a drive to solve problems.

• Proficient in software related to construction.

• Strong knowledge of Excel.
