Construction Asset Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct analysis and approve estimates for construction initiatives.

• Verify that proposed designs and estimates adhere to property standards.

• Evaluate whether constructed buildings align with specifications and material cost estimates.

• Utilize practical understanding of construction techniques and specifications for current or proposed housing.

• Review and validate contractor estimates.

• Monitor and document job cost variances.

• Collect photographic documentation for all estimates.

• Upload documentation into various owner portals for approval.

• Implement value engineering in estimates.

• Mentor and educate estimators on client requirements.

• Support additional construction or acquisition projects as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field, or equivalent experience and education.

• 1–2 years of pertinent experience in the building and construction industry.

• Proven strong proficiency in MS Excel.

• Understanding of construction practices and labor costs associated with construction.

• Solid knowledge of material uses and costs.

• Proficient in software related to construction.

• Strong command of Excel.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, requiring excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and quality assurance.

• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

• A mindset focused on process improvement.
